Absolutely delicious! I would say this is one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in YEG. The waitress was amazing and the restaurant has a cool vibe to it. I will for sure be back.
As someone who used to be a chef, I’m pretty particular about food quality plus authentic flavors and Vaticano did not disappoint. The food was outstanding, with rich, genuine Italian flavors that took me right back to my culinary roots. The ambiance made us feel like we were actually in Italy. Our server, Jen, was fantastic, recommending dishes that we absolutely loved. And the desserts? Don’t miss them the cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding were incredible. If you want top-notch Italian cuisine and excellent service, Vaticano is the place. We’ll definitely be back, thanks to their amazing hospitality!

The calamari was super crispy and not chewy at all probably one of the best I’ve had. And the lamb shank? So tender it literally fell off the bone. Full of flavour too. Overall, really happy with the meal. Great vibes, good service. Definitely going back again.
Service was friendly and professional. Was Mother’s Day so restaurant was very busy, but we didn’t feel rushed. Food was delicious, presentation beautiful!! We have never been disappointed in our experiences at Vaticano.
We picked this place for our monthly 'double date' with another couple and we were all impressed! Easy to get to, ample parking and excellent food. My partner absolutely loved the tomato bisque, the pizza was amazing and the house wine was delightful. Great, attentive service as well. We enjoyed our evening thoroughly!
This is definitely the restaurant I recommend for Italian cuisine. The server was attentive with nice attitude. I was being served well. I’ve been here a few times. Generally most of their dishes are satisfying. In particular the mussels in White wine sauce is amazing. You will feel like having the second round because the sauce has a very good balance of the wine, cream and the other ingredients. Their soup and pasta taste rich and stimulate your appetite and you want more and more. The restaurant preserves the traditional Italian style for the interior and ambient. It is enjoyable to indulge in the journey of Italian flavours here. Surely a must try in Edmonton!
